Electric scooters and bikes are in high demand in Australia right now. We always have new stock coming in, so if a product isn’t in stock, you can pre-order it and we will secure one for you in our next shipment. Pre-order means we have a container scootering in Sydney on the way, with a landing date confirmed. You can cancel and request a refund during your waiting period if you change your mind. The first step will be to check with your phone company to see if they can turn on roaming which will allow you to use your phone whilst in Australia. You are welcome to leave your luggage at our depot during your trip and there is no charge for this. Any Post Office in Australia can ship your luggage to another depot for you, or we can put you in touch with a courier company who will ship it for you. All rentals can add an optional theft waiver that protects you if your ebike is stolen. Your e-bike will come with battery charger, helmet, front and back lights, secure lock and phone holder. The rental fee also includes free general maintenance service. We require a $200 bond, which will fully be refunded if you return the bike with no damage.

Be very careful on gravel roads and do not ride them if it’s been wet. If you are hiring a bike for a long period and expect to travel over 8,000km then there is a one-off fee for servicing. Full details and costs can be found in the advice and information section. You may need a service somewhere along the way and you must agree to have this done if we require it. You may need to accept that you cannot use the bike for the day of the servicing. Any service needed will be at our cost and we will arrange this for you.

We ask questions of you at each stop to get you thinking and talking as group. In between each point of interest as your ride you can chat amongst your friends or listen to your tour guide if you have selected a guided tour. Our rental bikes can be upgraded to our Journeys By Bike self guided tour app. We can help you install it on your phone and pair to our SENA Bluetooth helmets for audio spoken turn by turn directions.
