A systematic literature review was performed in the databases Medline and the Web of Science Core Collection to identify and examine individual socioeconomic risk factors of suicidal behavior in South Korea. We initially planned to also investigate the influence of external sociocultural factors on suicidal behavior. Hence, our search strategy also looks for external sociocultural factors.
