In Part 3 of the CAE Speaking test you finally get a chance to interact and speak with your partner. You are given a diagram with a question and 5 different ideas surrounding it. Support your topic sentence by giving one or more specific examples. Start off with a topic sentence, or the main point of your response. To illustrate this, let us consider a scenario where the examiner has asked your child for the reason behind his or her choice to adopt a dog at a pet adoption drive.

If a student is really struggling, then giving them phrases to use such as “I like …” can help get the ball rolling. In my opinion, the Chinese New Year period is perfect to spend time with your family members, especially your extended family.
