The sashimi section was great, but stingy since they only allowed 6 slices per time per person, but did have a good selection of seafood options. On peak hour nights like Friday and Saturday, I hear they run a tight ship, trying to get customers in and out on a 1 and a half hour rotation. There is also slightly less seafood in the hot dishes section; I saw none of the calamari and mussels that were served at Burwood. And now that I’m mostly done with the savouries, time to see how the sweets stacked up. Now onto the more substantial sushi, hot food, and roast meats!

I haven’t been here in ages and tonight was very surprisingly still yummy. Having been around for years, China Bar CBD outlets has been known as a good place for supper, serving quality food at affordable price to late night crowds. With restaurants conveniently located throughout Victoria, China Bar has become a regular eat out spot for many locals.
I think the only thing worth commending was that they enforced any COVID protocols quite well. Given the current situation and the nature of buffets, it's as much as can be asked for. Although they did feel like we were asking the world of them when on person forgot their mask and asked if they could donate one. Given the situation, we are partially at fault too as everyone should know and have one by now.

This is great for those of you who like to finish off your meal with something classier, or less sweet than durian icy poles.
Not as spicy as the name suggests, its an easy dish to fall in love with and pairs well with vegetables for dipping or rice. Our famously spicy Tom Yum soups, and other Thai cuisines, coming soon to an exciting new location in the inner west. This will be the absolute last time that I'm going to a CBS.
