Pakenham Childcare & Early Learning

Pakenham Childcare & Early Learning

Our team of educators can speak a range of languages in addition to English. These include Cebuano, Cypriot, Greek, Hindi, Punjabi, Sinhalese, Spanish and Tamil. With 11 years of experience in early childhood education, I believe in dedicating time and space for children to grow while recognising individual learning styles.
Guided by passionate educators, our holistic approach ensures children build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills through play, imaginative learning, and social connection. We’re here to empower your child’s growth and create strong foundations for their bright future. Our early pakenham daycare learning centre offers a Government-funded kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

We are proud to offer the highest quality early education and care, where the safety and wellbeing of our children is paramount. At the Y, we understand how important early learning is for children’s development, providing essential benefits for today and for the future. Hi my name is Carly, I am the Quality Improvement Leader at KingKids Berwick and Hallam. I was first drawn to the early childhood sector through my interest in Early Childhood Psychology and the effects that our early experiences have on our adult lives. I am a proud aunty  to 4 nieces, and a proud bird mum to a parrot named bean.
This includes long day care, outside of school hours care and stand alone kindergarten programs. Our daycare and early learning centre is a convenient choice for local families in Cranbourne North, Clyde North, Cranbourne East, Narre Warren South, Cranbourne North and Pakenham. Great Beginnings Cranbourne North offers long day care and a kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with extended hours to suit busy families. At Creative Garden, we believe that the education of children in their early years is most effective when learning through play. Nurturing their development by encouraging hands on activities is fundamental to our philosophy.
Is your little one ready to embark on a world of discovery  and adventure? At Hallam Daycare Centre, we’re passionate about providing a warm, secure, and stimulating environment where your little one can thrive. Our services are available Monday to Friday, from 6.30am to 6.30pm, offering you peace of mind and convenience. We teach children the importance of sustainability by participating in the local Reverse Art Program, maintaining a community clothing rack, composting, and managing a worm farm. Children help care for our gardens, learn to conserve electricity by using natural light, and reuse water from their bottles to nourish our garden beds.

Our Family Support team can also help you find an alternate centre near you, with the same offerings, that might have immediate availability. Thoughtfully designed with children in mind, our unique environments offer childcare that inspires and nurtures. My name is Katherine, and I’m proud to be the Centre Manager at Eden Academy Pakenham. With 12 years of experience in Early Education and as a parent myself, I understand the importance of creating a home away from home where families feel supported and children thrive.
It’s common for a child to experience separation anxiety when they first start child care. When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. I feel proud to choose Aspire Thornhillpark as another home for my children where they feel so safe secure and comfortable. Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Thornhill Park is the third Aspire centre in the City of Melton Community.
I strive to create an environment that nurtures this sense of wonder, providing opportunities for children to explore and discover their world in a safe and secure way. I have been working in the early childhood industry for over two decades. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience across various childhood services, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to guide and mentor my team of passionate educators. This experience has also deepened my understanding of the community’s needs and the children I have the privilege to educate and care for.

This is available at sessional kindergartens and early learning centres. Most children's education and care services will have a National Quality Standard (NQS) rating. These are one way of helping families choose the best service for their children. We're participating in the Victorian Government's Free Kinder program. Free Kinder provides up to 15 hours of free kindergarten for three and four-year-olds, up to a value of $2000 for integrated kindergarten programs. I am passionate about creating strong relationships with families to support continuity between home and care.
We recommend you speak to your maternal and child health nurse about your child’s development. Wherever they are, children deserve to feel accepted, wanted, and valued. Our environment is a safe space for your child to do what they do best – be themselves. Our Family Support Team can also help you find more G8 early learning centres near you, with the same offerings at the Community Kids centre you are interested in that have immediate availability.
We facilitate environments that encourage children not only to have fun but also to learn and grow physically, intellectually, and emotionally. We create a sense of belonging for your child to ensure they feel heard and empowered to make choices, fostering their independence. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths, helping them to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. We ensure families start their day right with fresh treats and a coffee station in our foyer. Each room receives fresh fruit daily, and seasonal fruit is always available in the front foyer for children to take on their way out, keeping hungry bellies satisfied before dinner. We offer a Chinese language program that introduces children to Mandarin through engaging activities, songs, and storytelling.
