Any changes made less than 2 full days before  the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Any changes made less than 6 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Start your 5-day round-island tour of Taiwan with the coach drive from Taipei to the temples of Sun Moon Lake, including Wenwu Temple, Holy Monk Shrine, and Tse-En Pagoda. Day 2 takes you to Fo Guang Shan Monastery and the night market of Kaohsiung. Green Island - this island located off the east coast of Taitung offers coral beaches, tropical forests, and fresh saltwater hot springs. Range of topics including the latest high-tech safety and environmental technology.
Don't pass up the chance to dig into a plate of niu rou mian or lu rou fan . These classic dishes are highly recommended by the locals. If you can't imagine a holiday that doesn't involve sports, check what events are 伴手禮 台東 on at Taitung Stadium. It's likely something will be on while you visit. You can find the venue 40 kilometres away in Taitung. My view at Hehuanshan ViewpointReluctantly, we gave up the idea of hiking and drove off.

Most people I observed walked straight past. I just rented the car near the Taipei Main Station and returned the car at a designated drop off centre in which they transported me back to the airport for my flight. If you stay anywhere walking distance from a Metro stop then you'll be pretty safe – I don't mind the area around central park and then further down the metro line is Sanduo . Will probably have to take some driven tours, as one person has doesn't like walking for far or long.
This tour is a great choice for anyone who wants to visit Taiwan highlights outside of Taipai city that would be challenging to get to on your own. The hotels were all 5 stars, two included hot spring pools on site. The breakfast buffets included in the tour at the hotels all had a great selection of Taiwanese and Western food.
We made a wrong decision to have our lunch at Shuishe Pier and were put off by how touristy the place was. Even before we could get off the car, we were approached by two touters asking us if we wanted to buy ferry tickets.  View from Ci En Pagoda at Sun Moon LakeThere aren’t a lot of things to do at night in Sun Moon Lake. Even at 6pm, most of the street vendors have closed for the day. We bought a grilled sausage and mushroom bun and strolled to Yidashao Wharf.

Went there on a couple of school excursions and it was really amazing... I haven't been but all reports are that it's well worth visiting. December, January, and February are the best time for me to visit.
The vouchers can be either Easycards or accommodation vouchers . We are already planning to go back for more and to do a circuit of the island via train. Noticed that Decathlon Taiwan is MUCH cheaper than Decathlon Australia for outdoors stuff. Elsewhere clothes and electronics pricing was similar to Australia.

I bought a small freshly blended watermelon drink at a street stall yesterday for 25 NTD. The night before, a small bowl of fish ball soup was also 25 NTD. I took a very short ride on the MRT for 20 NTD . Thanks for the tip, I might send you a whim for your recommended taxi driver's details sometime. If travelling to Hualien, particularly to visit the gorge, do your homework and book your taxi before you go. Hey guys, I'm heading to Taipei start of January and just wanted to know if there are a lot of places to exchange over there and if exchange rate will be better than getting it done in Australia.
It's a fairly small theme park although if you've done it before then yea no point going again. Yea they might be kinda similar but it's not going to be exactly like that style probably smaller as well but yea check those out and you can see what you think. Probably the first one i mentioned is the one that most people would go for. The other two i didn't mention were Janfusun Fancyworld Theme Park and E-DA World. I'm guessing since you are only there probably 4 full days or maybe less you are going to stick with Taipei. I managed to withdraw money there using my ordinary Westpac card, so probably, yes.
We also went to the great Raohe Night Market and found a few veg snacks. The livelier place to stay in Kaohsiung; around the HSR terminal, the old train station or the seafront area? I'm looking for somewhere with convenient transport, as have one person with poor mobility, so I can see us just going around the local area on some days.
