Aside from soap making, candle making, and screen printing classes, Craft MNL in Makati also offers woodworking workshops focused on using hand tools instead of intricate power tools. Although there are already a lot of do-it-yourself (DIY)  tutorials online, crafting with wood can still be challenging when you’re just starting out. This is why the Wood Academy in Quezon City offers basic woodworking classes (P4,500, ~USD80.79) up to numerous advanced classes (P8,050, ~USD144.51). Canvas painting boards are available for purchase within the class, and payment is not necessarily expected at the first class. As a minimum, beginning oil painting students may spend about $30 for a canvas board  (depending on the size of the canvas board for their project). Painting students can store their painting materials with the Perth Art Group. Students who already have paints and materials, or who purchase painting materials during the course, are expected to bring them, and use them within the class.
